THERAPY

what WE DO

I do my best work with highly sensitive, overachieving adults; the people who know what it feels like to constantly strive for approval, those who’ve learned to keep others happy, often by staying small, or hiding parts of themselves just to feel accepted.

They’re perfectionists, overthinkers, people-pleasers with rich inner worlds who  rarely let those around them know about their struggles and instead put on a mask and soldier through their days.

In therapy we begin the process of untangling the patterns that drive overachievement, self-doubt, and the relentless pursuit of approval. Together, we create a space where complexity is welcomed, and the root of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can be gently explored and understood.

themes WE

These are some themes that frequently emerge in my work with clients, revealing the deeper dynamics at play within their internal systems.

EXPLORE

  • The Weight of the “Shoulds”: internal and external pressures to conform, be “good,” or meet societal and relational expectations.

  • Perfectionism and Self-Worth: constant drive to excel and its connection to feelings of adequacy, success, and identity.

  • Loud Inner Critics: the harsh, self-critical voices that fuel feelings of guilt, shame, or inadequacy.

  • Lack of Authenticity and Alignment: constant performing for approval and shape-shifting for external validation.

 APPROACH

CULTIVATING CURIOSITY

I fuse modern psychotherapy frameworks and ancient healing modalities in my practice. Here are the pillars at the foundation of all the services I offer:

MIND WHOLENESS

When pain gets some space, it alchemizes into wisdom and healing. As such, understanding all parts of who we are not only relieves suffering but also catalyzes deeper transformation.

BODY WISDOM

There is profound wisdom in our bodies and the emotions they hold. When we ground ourselves in that inner wisdom we make room for clarity, presence, and aliveness to emerge.

COLLECTIVE HEALING

We are wired for connection and belonging. Our health and wellness is interlinked with the health of our communities, and the social and environmental context in which our lives unfold.

MODALITIES

IFS therapy

Internal Family Systems is the main modality I use in our work with clients. Healing in IFS occurs by identifying core issues and exploring the pain underneath them.

Got Questions?

Starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions. I’m happy to provide clarity and guidance.
